Key Summary:
• A large gold-bearing area with high-grade zones
• Potential for both hard rock gold and alluvial deposits
• Well-developed infrastructure including roads, electricity, and workforce
• High-grade gold in pyrite enhances the overall economic value of the resource
Geology and Resources:
• Location: New Zealand
• Thickness of gold-bearing layers extends to over 20 meters
• High-grade zones in lower layers: up to 60 g/m³
• Gold in pyrite up to 30 oz per ton of pyrite (~5.6 g/t)
Work Completed:
• Over 60 drill holes and a 234-meter tunnel
• Results: 4–33 g/m³ gold in samples
• Four high-grade zones identified over a larger area than initially estimated
Proposed Mining Plan:
• Extraction rate up to 700 tons per hour (~6.1 million tons per year)
• Use of existing processing plants to reduce costs
• Onsite water supply and staged mining from surface to deeper layers
•Reuse of old dams for tailings management
Potential and Outlook:
• Currently confirmed area: ~800 meters, with expansion potential up to 4 km
• Overall resource estimate: ~500 million m³ of ore
• Potential for resources comparable to Macraes Gold Mine (~10 million oz)
• Recent geophysical data indicates promising targets in hard rock formations
Partnership Model:
JV or investment for plant setup & production startup
